Storage and transportation
Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose is a hygroscopic and water-absorbing polymer powder. It should be stored and transported in its original packaging and kept cool and dry. During production and use, once the original packaging is opened, resealing measures must be taken to avoid moisture intrusion.
Shelf life
The shelf life of Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose is at least two years in a cool and dry place. For products that have expired, verification tests should be conducted before use.
